People who thought going abroad was over for good

Back in 2020/2021 an number of posters here were saying that very few people would want to go on an aeroplane ever again due to the "new normal" of social distancing. Are any of these people still here? Have they left their Ma's house since 1998?

    What?

The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.

Same was said after 9/11 that everyone would be too fearful of flying again. Humans are very resilient, and it was only ever scaremongering because all pandemics throughout history have come to an end. COVID is no different, it's less severe now thanks to vaccines, so people have more confidence being able to do the things they could do pre-2020.

Does anyone think it’s strange that’s lads who protested wearing masks are now wearing masks to protests?

I remember one poster being active on two threads who was arguing on one thread that all schools should be closed due to the severe dangers of covid and that teachers shouldn't have to teach remotely because they didn't have the training/resources...............and on another thread going mental that travel restrictions meant they wouldn't be able to go abroad for their holliers. Because those restrictions weren't needed as covid wasn't harmful to 99.99% of the population.

I have no idea what the OP is on about now. Making stuff up in their imagination. Possibly hasn't come out of their own Ma's basement since 2020
