    Hi Folks,

I have a 2015 Renault Zoe with a broken compressor due to the wrong service by Renault. If you are in this situation, please check if Renault provided you with the correct service at the 6-year mark. Renault is supposed to top-up your refrigerant at 6-year service which was not done for me. This led to the compressor running dry and breaking on itself. Renault has quoted me that a fix for something like this can run up to €10,000 as the compressor is not just used for cooling inside of the cabin but also to cool down the battery pack.

I am reaching out to all the Renault Zoe owners who've had a compressor failure. Please reach out to me.

    Cheers,

    Yadu

Maybe ask on the Irish EV owners Facebook group, it's more popular than boards.ie
