Vacant Property Refurbishment Grant From Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage

    Hi All , I was hoping to apply for The vacant property refurbishment grant but cork city council have yet to employ someone to inspect properties ! Any advice in filling out forms , house has to be completely re-wired, plumbed insulated etc. ? Thanks

    Does anyone know how long you have to complete refurbishment after getting the grant? And what proof do you need to satisfy the gov that you are living in the house after completion?

    Work hs to be completed in 13 months, electricity usage will be proof that you live there

    hi we started works in sep 2022 and moved in march 2023.. didnt get paid until at least june 2023 i think. we were apprved nov 2022

    they call to house to make sure you are living there we had to have beds and all in , curtains and couch etc working heat and kitchen
