As there's a thread about what we least like about themselves, I thought it would be nice to have the antidote; what we most like about ourselves too..

I'm caring, a loyal friend, appreciate nature, passionate, i'm positive.. have a sense of gratitude..

My friends say I'm intelligent, a good laugh, good communicator/listener.

Same as you Sporina - sense of gratitude/perspective.

I have nice hands. Big shovel like hands. Great when eating popcorn in particular.

Resilience and adaptability are the 2 traits that I think I most appreciate about myself. Life has thrown some shítty curve balls my way over the course of my time and I am still here. Not just surviving but kind of thriving.

In practical terms, I'm the eldest of a big family and a lifetime of on the fly problem solving has stood me pretty much in good stead. Years of being the fixer and negotiator 😉

I keep a low profile keep myself to myself do things on the QT for others, never forget others who were good to me my wife and my parents in our darkest hours. Lets just say I got your back, if I don't have your back then watch your own back yourself.

I'm extremely low maintenance. That helps a lot in life as friends, family and colleagues are always surprised at my resilience. I tend to just get on with it and be very grateful even for the smallest things.

the ability to enjoy life and not be bogged down by drudgery or the negatives in life….I’ve a number of very decent and enjoyable hobbies, interests etc.

ability to take a knock in life and reflect on it and formulate a fix as well as a template so that it can’t happen again. Far better than this ‘woe is me’… ‘look at me and my mental health’ schtick that so many are embracing…

Self sufficient, I don’t have this intrinsic ‘need’ for people, to be around them, to rely on them, to be dependent on them… constantly…it’s been a really nice week, social engagements with family and a couple of friends but I’ve nothing on this weekend, nobody to see, and I find that incredibly normal, incredibly appealing, a great way to recharge the batteries, nice bit of thinking time… for reflecting, planning, relaxing and recharging… I’ll enjoy sport on tv, gaming, cooking and more besides. Next week a couple of meet-ups I’m looking forward to but I’m not exactly shaking with fear at the prospect of having SFA to do and nobody to see for a day or two during the interim … its normal.

That I value health and fitness to provide a pathway for overall short and long term wellbeing… i exercise 6 days a week… so about 9-10 hours by my guesstimate per week. prevention is far more appealing then a cure, had to learn that the hard way but hey. Being fit is good for your heart, mind, proven to be preventative as regards certain cancers, certain types of diabetes, stroke, heart issues, depression, anxiety and dementia…

I tend to give good advice and have a keen sense of danger / dodgy people and situations.

I'm a pretty healthy person and live a pretty healthy life and hardly ever get sick. And of course I haven't taken any Coviv-19 vaccines.

Everything even the troubling bits because without them I wouldn't be me. My intuition is usually good and I have an ability to really know what the best move is. A sort of strong sense of what the right thing to do or not do is.

I can hold alot of opposing opinions and turn them all around and inside out in my head. I can imagine each one spinning away. I can understand all most any point of view, and state of mind. Almost.

I'm kind and thoughtful and will make an effort for you if you are in my life. It isn't always reciprocated and while that can sting at times, well whatever I said or did for you I did for you.

For the people who I love and care about I am extremely loyal and will make a stand on your behalf. I will never ghost you or drop you or badmouth you. I will always have your back and can be relied upon and supportive.

I know myself inside out while at the same time being aware that there is more to come. Something may happen and another piece is uncovered, made conscious.

Under my softness lies a steely core and darker aspects which don't scare me.

My eyes. They are amber which I found out recently are very rare. I always noticed growing up people would stare at my eyes as if I had something in them and I would get self conscious but it was due to their rarity. Most people have brown or blue eyes and amber is almost unheard of so ive learned to really appreciate them. Whats rare is wonderful!

I'm struggling to think of anyone I dislike. Don't get me wrong. I'm quite ambivalent to quite a few people. I just avoid.

    I don't hate anything...except for bananas. Devil's fruit.
