Why is Sky Sports, Premier Sports, etc. not available on eir?

    Hi I recently joined Eir after coming from virgin and as far as i’m aware eir is the only tv provider that doesn’t have any sports channels available. All others have the likes of sky sports, premier, bt, etc. I’d much rather pay for sports channels on eir then have to shell out 30€pm for now tv just to watch a premier league match. Is there any reason behind this?
