    Hi there,

Has anyone used temporary car park at Colbert Station - https://www.irishrail.ie/en-ie/news/car-park-closure-limerick .

Is there a way to access train station without having to walk all the way back via Sexton St. / Parnell St. which is a bit of a trek?

    Thanks.

Look at the map on the page you've linked. There's a pedestrian link indicated on it.

Tbf to the OP, it also says "Please allow up to 30 minutes extra to get to the station Iarnród Éireann apologises for any inconvenience caused" which is very misleading.

Even if you had walk out onto the Roxboro Road and down along Sexton Street, it wouldn't take 30 mins.

Correct and thanks - It is very misleading! While it shows pedestrian route it doesn't state anything about it - could have added a description to say if you use this temporary walkway you can reach train station in 5 mins. or whatever - that's why I was asking had anyone used it...

Ide say the 30 includes finding a space or an alternative in case its full or something. Or if your really old or infirm.

They are always overly cautious with these things.
