Headset query

Hi folks so my son has the Nintendo switch and wants to do chat with friends and I wanted to pick him up a turtle beach headset and on smyths they are saying Xbox or ps only and recommend a wired one for the switch can I get the turtle beach and use Bluetooth to connect properly ? he has wireless headphones at the moment…

Bluetooth audio definitely works for listening but I have never used a mic.

I have one for audio but it doesn’t have a microphone so I was thinking to upgrade
