Have 2 lamp posts in garden which are controlled by a motion sensor on side of house. All working .

However our gat is 35 metres from house and is not picked up by the sensor. One of the lamp posts is close enough to the gate to use with a sensor.

What is the easiest way of add a sensor to the post to get it to work and cover the gate.

I'd probably use led bulbs in the posts and fit a timer or swop pir for a photocell

Or fit both if you want the lights going off during the nite

Forget the pirs as usage is so low

The old method was wiring from the house in a 4-core to the pirs and lights

Supply and switched live at each pir and light

There's wireless options but probably too much hassle to setup
