Installing Artificial Grass

Hi, I'm looking to get artificial grass installed in a small back garden roughly 55 square metres.

Having got a few pricey quotes i'm thinking of doing it myself.

Anyone done it before or have any tips?

I did this in 2019. Cost back then was just over €1,800 for 48 sq m.

We went for top end grade though as the Italian stone circle I was originally going to put in was unable to be sourced by my supplier so we had the funds set aside.

It is really not too hard if you are willing to put in a few days of hard graft.

Lay 804 hard core - wacker plate - couple tonnes of quarry dust - tamp level - roll grass.

It's not as hard as you would think.

Lay real turf, its alot easier and cheaper. Artificial grass is bad for the environment , more expensive harder to upkeep and you will be renewing it in 10 years again.
