Lamp shade on ceiling light fixture

Hi folks Long story short I bought a lamp shade not realising that it was only designed to fit lamps and not ceiling lights. Can't return it so stuck with it. Do I have any options for fitting this to a ceiling? Can I get some kind of converter or a fitting of some kind so that the lamp shade can be fitted to the ceiling…
