Would anyone know if you could get an adaptor to allow a Minolta af75-300mm lens be used on a digital canon EOS 2000d....?

Your Minolta lens is A mount, while your Canon camera is EF mount.

This adapter will physically allow you to mount an A mount lens on an EF/EF-S body:

Be warned that Auto Focus and controlling the aperture from the camera body WILL NOT WORK with this adapter, as there's no electronic coupling that translates the signal to and from the respective Canon and Minolta protocols. It seems to be the only adapter available. Another problem is that the Minolta flange distance is less than the Canon EF one, so the adapter has to have a correcting lens in it to allow infinity focus, which complicates things and will likely have some negative effect on IQ.

Edited to highlight that AF and aperture control will not work

    OP, is it this lens:

    Or this lens

If it's the former (AKA the "Big Beer Can"), it has some nostalgic value, so might be worth using with the adapter if you're into that sort of thing. But you'll still lose AF and won't be able to change aperture.

If it's the latter, I wouldn't bother. It wasn't a good lens even when it was on native Minolta bodies. With you losing AF and aperture control, using it adapted on a Canon body would be more trouble than it's worth.

Thanks for the info and effort @Gregor Samsa ..

I actually got a 55-200mm efs on ebay...

Hopefully it will do the job 🙂

Cool, you're better off with a native lens. Happy shooting!
