Funding for further education

    Hello everyone

A few things here, so I'll try be as brief.

I'm on JB, due to run out in 2 months.

    I won't qualify for JA.

My local intreo office said they 'would have paid for me to update my HDip, (it's now been replaced with PME).

I would have loved to have done this however I was never notified. I have been a sub teacher for over ten years. So I have been signing on every summer.

I decided to go back and do an MA part time (psychotherapy) 4 years long at least.

I asked if they could fund some of the MA. But said it needs to be full time, and it's too late anyway as I've started it.

I've made an appointment to see someone in intreo to try and pursue this further. I feel it's really unfair. Ineffective and regimented.

I also have long term chronic pain. My GP said he would submit for invalidity partial payment scheme. It's a separate issue, should I bring this up at meeting in Friday?

I'm also asking for any knowledge on this. I've been messed around here and I'll be fobbed off if I don't know my stuff. Theres nothing online.

FYI: my brother and friend both very different circumstances got their MA's paid for.

    Thanks in advance
