how long did the rent tax credit take to go into bank account?

    got statement of liability last monday & still havne't got money in the account.

    anyone else waiting this long? i wonder does it depend on the bank, im boi

    Does the bottom of page 1 of your statement of liability state that's there is a refund and that it will be paid to your bank account? If it does then it can be up to 5 working days.

    Yeah it did sat that. So hopefully Tuesday given mon is a Bank Holiday

    It was definitely quick in my case, did you double and triple check the IBAN in your profile? I once registered on one of those tax rebates website and their bank account will stay there forever until you change it back.

    I actually used one of those companies this year, as I had a hard time getting ANY details from my landlord, then I only gave the landlord's name to that company and they managed to secure the credit for me. Go figure...

    Most of the questions in relation to the rent tax credit are optional not mandatory

    The taxback company didn't do anything to speed up the tax return or use any further details to process the return

    You don't need to provide further details of your tenancy, it's asked on the form but it is not mandatory. They would have given the name and nothing else as you provided, and the return would have been submitted.
