Anyone explain this Social Insurance Contribution Statement to me, like in 2020 53A ( 53 weeks 🤔) or 2018 what is the 7J for and what does it mean, ie in 2021paid 52A (presume that's amount of weeks) and what does it mean credited 11

The number and letter shows the number and type of contributions you paid in a particular year. As you said,52A means you paid 52 A type PRSI contributions in the year.

Some years have 53 weeks for pay or PRSI purposes, so if you see 53A, it means you paid 53 contributions in that year.

2018 shows 44 A cons and 7 J cons - were you working part-time any time that year?

Credits are granted if you were claiming social welfare - for example, Illness benefit if you were sick from work. If you were paid by your employer while sick, you'd get a paid and a credit contribution.

thanks a mill gipi, just thought of it, was out for a bit with an injury and the credited part i would never have figured out.
