7ft pool table question about snooker balls

    Hi,

    We have a new 7ft supreme pool table arriving in a couple of weeks for our games room and i would like to get a 10 red set of snooker balls for it. My question is should i order 1 7/8 size balls or two inch. Also can anyone recommend the best place to purchase balls from Ireland? It seems Amazon seem to be the cheapest. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I tend to go for the Aramith balls as they seem to be the best quality. Best place for getting a cue and cue recomendations too would be good.

    I'd have thought for ball-size that it's directly related to pocket size. Ideally you want to maintain as closely as possible the same ratio as on a full-size snooker table (albeit pocket shape is going to be different on a pool table).
