What type of spuds are these please?

Digging weeds beside the rhubarb and found these - had not been touched for two or three years - don’t know how they got there - but I like the look of them - haven’t cooked one yet. I grow Records mainly.

Feck it - I never thought of rooster because they are so pink - thought Kerr pinks but I don’t think those are actually pink - Probably a shop one that was thrown out - I like roosters.

My wife insists on throwing potato peelings on the compost heap as a result we always have bloody spuds growing there.

Yep I’m the same - have a few of those one ton skip bags going with compost and leaf mold - have to keep chopping them when stalks appear - by the way those skip bags are useful for this purpose - you can get them free.
