Recommend a smart thermostat

Hi All

Can you please recommend me a smart thermostat (non subscription based). My current installation is

3 zone system

• Zone 1: Controlled by Nest thermostat (downstairs)
• Zone 2: old timer based thermostat (for upstairs)
• Zone 3: Water heating also controlled by nest

I am interested in getting a smart thermostat for upstairs as well, which I can control using my phone. ( It does not need to be fancy as long as I can start heating with the phone and I can schedule a time on a weekly basis)

Would you not get another nest. One app would do the lot.

Thank you. But it is very expensive and I was hoping to spend that much money.

One bit of information: The old system I have is EPS system and If I can somehow extend it that would be wonderful as well.

You could wire in a cheap wifi socket that would just give you on/off without any temperature control.

I am happy to recommend Wiser system. I bought it online from Amazon, 3 years and working fine. I had EPH prior to this one.

I am hoping to get a smart thermostat for around 80 to 100 euros as I only have 2 requirements

• I should be able to boost heating when needed ( for upstairs) without going downstairs and pressing the button
• I should be able to set a schedule a time when heating will come on and off

I have a single electric connection going to my current EPH and Nest so I don't think this is possible.

I got it on a blackfriday sale for 120 or so.
