Water Softener - Cleaning bead tank?

Hi all, moved in to a house that had a fairly new water softener already installed, but noticed the water is still pretty hard. Checked the brine tank and the salt was pretty solid around the bottom of the tank. Have that sorted but figure the bead tank probably needs a good clean too as with the salt bridge in the brine…

What are people using to clean the bead tank? Youtube (I know, I know!) suggests Iron Out, but cant seem to find it here, and not sure I want that going in to my water supply anyway!
