Shower fitting question

I need to replace the shower that I have. The thermostatic valve is gone in it and I cannot seem to source a replacement so the only option is to replace the whole shower.

Issue is I do not want to drill new holes into the times. The spacing of the pipes that come out into the mixer is the standard, however the distance from there to the fixture that holds the shower columns up seems to vary massively (present one is ~700m). Can you get showers that are the t-bar mixer type that have variable shower column fixing heights?

Any suggestions for avoiding drilling an additional hole?
