Hi All - We've recently had our first born and at least in the short term probably won't be heading off on many trips in our VW converted van. To avoid it sitting there idle and helping to pay for some nappies we were thinking to rent it out.
I've checked with some of the insurance companies and it seems impossible to get decent information out of them. Even with Open drive policy you cannot rent it out for financial gain.
One option I've seen is to list it on some of the bigger sites in a similar way to air bnb style for campervans, and their insurance policy covers or supersedes your own personal policy for any rentals. Does anyone have experience of this or any advice?
