Pcp or not?

I enquired about a Peugeot 3008 at the weekend on pcp. I was offered €5000 for my car and with €10,000 along with that the repayment would be €416 a month over 3 years with a GFV of €18345.

I also got a quote for the same but on HP. The repayments would be €570 a month over 5 years.

Previously I had been looking at 2020 models. The cheapest I can find(auto, diesel) is around €35k which would mean financing €20k. The repayments on the would be around €600 a month over 3 years. At the end of this I would also have a 6 year old car after paying higher repayments for the 3 years.

After looking at these figures pcp seems to be the winner for me. Just looking for other opinions....
