Hi all. Has anybody booked through the broker sites Carjet / Rentals cars / AutoEurope? I have come across a very good price on CarJet but needs to be paid upfront so I am I bit nervous. Any thought please?

I rent cars in France 3/4 times a year and have used AutoEurope and RentalCars together with the likes of Argus and Europcar without any problems. I never heard of Carjet to be honest but there are a lot of bad reviews on the likes of Trip Advisor which would set the alarm bells ringing. Unless the deal is incredibly good I'd be inclined to look elsewhere.

also used AutoEurope a heap of times and no issues.

just be aware that the excess cover with AutoEurope is a 3rd party thing so you still need to leave a deposit/ block on your card when renting. This catches out some more financially challenged people who have neither the cashflow or (real, proper, actual, with credit) "credit card" to deal with the deposit
