I've an item sitting in An Post warehouse somewhere in Dublin awaiting a payment for VAT. But the VAT was paid in the global eBay purchasing environment. Now the payment due date is tomorrow and I haven't heard anything from the e-comm query service. I sent a copy of the invoice I received from eBay to them. Is this typical?

You can pay it and get the item or not pay it and the item is returned
