Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Screen dead (Samsug A9) - Need to retrieve pictures

Screen died on a Samsung A9 - not bothered, but as usual, need the pictures.

Internal storage won't mount on PC without permission (hard to do with no screen!)

    What are the alternatives?

One idea was a USB-C to HDMI cable and connect to TV - but may still have to give permissions from phone? (Not sure if compatible with A9)

As I don't want anything too forensics orientated, just want to grab the pictures, aren't there USB-C devices which once you plug in, it'll grab / image / copy phone data?

Would be grateful for ay advice... my interests of mucking about with phones on a more forensic level died out a few years ago and things have changed.

    Many thanks.
