    Dear Stakeholders

Please note that the Department of Housing, Local Government & Heritage launched today a public consultation survey on the Wild Bird Declarations that allow for the control of certain protected wild bird species

You can share your views on the Declarations by completing the online survey available on the Government of Ireland website located here

If you wish to complete the online survey you should do so by 17:00 on Friday 24 February 2023.

This has consequences for farmers, especially sheep and arable as Grey crows, Woodpigeon and Rooks are currently only allowed to be controlled under derogation.

If the Greens get their way the derogations will not be issued. Need to make your voices heard!
