Issue with sewer - possible leak/crack?

    Hello,

    TL;DR

We have an issue where water doesn't appear to be getting from one access joint to another, so I assume it must be a cracked pipe or something? I was able to rod it with sewer rods with the rubber head on it and that worked ok, and pushed through what seemed to be a blockage, but it doesn't seem like any water we put into the first AJ is reaching the second one

    Probably too much info:

We have an old style 2 chamber tank system and during very wet weather our system kind of falls apart when the ground is saturated the peculation area has no where to go. So typically it backs the system up (normally to the AJ nearest the house and where all pipes go into) and when it dries out I clear this out and empty it into the tank. So I did this morning, rodded the entire length of the pipe down to the tank using sewer rods with the rubber head that's about the same diameter of the pipe and all seemed fine, but i noticed that no water I was putting into the first AJ after I removed the rods was reaching the end. (all rods came out fine)

So since I rodded the swered with basically a full bore rod and it came out fine, that kind of rules out a blockage and the only other thing I'm thinking is the pipe between the two AJs is cracked or leaking. its about 20M between the AJs, first 5M of it is beneath the patio, last 15M is beneath lawn. I have flushed the toilets and left taps running and the water is leaving the first AJ, but doesn't make it to the second. I don't see any evidence of where the water is leaving the pipe (no water logged patch of grass etc) Does this sound like a reasonable assumption? Anything else I can check first?

Who should I be calling to look at this? Someone like Dynorod? We used them for a blockage before and thought they were quite expensive for what they did, but if they are who we need to get then what can you do!

I also assume it is something that needs to be addressed fairly urgently, we thought it might not be possible to have machinary in on the lawn til the summer, but it seems like pipes can be re-lined? Does anyone have an opinion on this as a fix? If the repair needs to happen on the lawn a "dig" solution isn't a big deal, but if it has to happen on the cobble lock patio that would be much more awkward!

I don't have an inspection camera, but I am into electronics and probably could hook something up to work as one, but I'm not sure there would be a huge advantage as I'm probably calling someone else to fix it either way (Although I suppose I could attempt a repair if it was under the grass)

    Any thoughts, suggestions?
