    Hi,

I do i need planning permission to make internal changes to a house / building?

    Changes in mind:

    1.) Removing downstairs toilet

2.) Installing stud partition upstairs and installing a bathroom

3.) Installing another stud partition upstairs to seprate 2 areas

4.) Convert utility area to full kitchen

    Thanks.

Generally speaking no. So long as you aren't altering the external appearance of the house then the planning end should be okay. But bear in mind that you will still have to comply with building regulations.

The ground floor toilet - is that for occupiers/visitors who may have a disability?

It's utility / office space, so not the main toilet on the property...

Is it a house or an apartment building?
