Social housing limit increase

    Hi guys

I try calling my local welfare office but they never answered the phone and got a three word reply when I sent them an email

I know the limits for social housing/hap have gone up.

For me and partner it's up to 40 thousand.

Is this before or after tax? And is there wiggle room as we might be a little bit over?

    Thanks.

Social limits always referred to net (take home) income far as I know. So the old limit for a single adult was 36k, which is a gross wage of what, nearly 50k.

No wiggle room on social housing. Fixed limits reduce discretion/corruption
