i40 diesel not starting

    Hi

    152 i40 est 1.7d wont start. Turning over strongly but wont fire today. No warning lights when it was driving during the week

    It was slow to start at times in Nov - got full service inc fuel filter then, working until mid Dec. No warning lights b4 that and battery good, no faults showing up!

    Failed to start again , mechanic put in heater plugs said done a few Hyundai and kias for same issue?!

    Parked up a bit of the hols, slow but started. Ran fine for a cpl weeks. Failed to start today, i dont feel like going back to yr man, he is only guessing now I think?

    Mileage 140k mls, doesn't do much mileage but i gave it a few good hot runs over last cpl weeks

    Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

    Update; started with a jump lead jus now
