    Hi,

I'm an international student hoping to sit the Leaving Cert as an external candidate. I am wondering whether external students can choose the subjects biology, chemistry and physics or if these subject have a practical course work element and are therefore not possible. Does anyone have experience whith these particular 3 subjects as an external? Do you know if students form abroad have to present records of completed lab work to SEC for these subjects? Any advice is much apreciated. Would the subjects business, applied math and spanish be an alternative that does not require projects or practical work?

    thank you for your help!
