Is there any law that says you can't print out your insurance disc?

    No.

So long as it is printed in colour (for green band), legible, and correct size then it’s grand.

For example this was included in my last renewal confirmation from Liberty.

I've done it for the past 2 years, as my certificate is only issued by email.

The instructions given in my email are to print it in colour, make sure it's the correct size and make sure it's got the green stripe down the side.

If you or a family member is taking a driving test, make sure that the green colour isn't faded.
