Vodafone Gigabox Guest Wifi

    Is there any way to have your guest Wi-Fi without a password with a Vodafone Gigabox.

    The idea is any guest can use it. It’s time limited anyway and not everyone lives in urban areas were neighbours will use it. Surely you can setup your own network whatever way you want.

    I think guest Wi-Fi should be password free be separate from your primary LAN, be time and bandwidth limited if required. None of this seems possible on the Gigabox.

    They updated their firmware and blocked all open security on wifi, which is none of their effin business anyway.

    They also now have minimum character SSID too.

    Maybe a firmware downgrade would fix it..

    Also new update blocks you from splitting the frequency.

    Can't wait for my contract to be up so I can get rid. It's been nothing but hassle
