Calling all experienced builders/ DIY enthusiasts out there,

We moved into our house about a year ago. The attic is converted and has stairs going up to it- it's panelled with wood and has lovely semi solid wood floors. Previous owners used it as a pool room. There are two small velux windows. We got rid of the huge pool table and put in our bed so we could use it as our bedroom. We now want to get around to stripping back the wood, plastering it, painting it, putting velux windows (much bigger ones- it's awful dim in there right now😎- maybe not a bad thing as we're auld!) . It's still very much an old 'pool room' we're sleeping in🤣. It's a big room. Could anyone advise on the cost please? We haven't a clue where to begin. We live in Galway. We don't have a load of money to drop even a year after the house purchase but obviously we'd like to do it as well as we could possibly afford (hence waiting the year!)
