Mounting blackout blinds for small studio

I want to create a small dark space for photographing photos and documents. I am thinking of cordoning off a section of a room with blackout blinds. Ideally I would hand these with a rail, or even better some sort of temporary rail. I wonder if anyone has done something similar in the past or has any advice?

I turned my box room into a dark room for developing b and w negatives and prints 30 years ago, I don't see why you need it for photographing, try taking them at night with the lights off
