Low pressure on gas boiler, trying to refill

Looking for some help increasing the pressure on a potterton boiler. I recently bled the system, but the boiler stopped working with a low pressure warning.

I've opened both the black valves which I thought would do it, but no water is filling.

Any ideas, thanks in advance!?

Try a filling valve in the hot press. Look for a one-way valve and a pressure gauge attached.

Should be coming from a pipe coming from the attic, so coming from the tank. There'll be a pressure gauge and most likely a handled valve. ( But it could be a wheel valve).

Post a few pics of the hot press pipes, if you still cant find it..

Filling loop is usually a bit of flexible pipe like this:

After you fill over 1 bar you'll need to bleed your rads and possibly open the filling loop again to top up the space the air was taking up.

Also it's hard to see in the picture but is that your gas inlet in the middle of the boiler and is it missing a yellow shut off handle?

I presume there’s a pump feeding into the boiler. For ours, when the valves are opened no water flows in until the pump activates. Flushing the toilet triggers our pump and we can then top up the boiler.

So after some detective work and a call to my mate to confirm, it was located at the top the hot water tank.

Not this is a tall tank, so I only saw it when I got up on a stool.

No pressure value, and not what i was expecting, but got the job done.
