Looking for some advice on what part to stay on island?

Male, 39 and single.....Don't want to be in the middle of a party scene yet don't want to be in the middle of nowhere either....A happy medium...Looking for the more the beautiful, scenic parts....

Is is easy enough to get around the island to see different parts?

    Thanks

Was in Corfu about 10-15 years ago and stayed in a place called Sidari and it was a nice in between - so not too quiet but not too rowdy either and had a lovely beach.

Unfortunately we didnt venture too far away from Sidari so cant say much about getting around the Island

Was in Ypsos in Sep 21 with the wife. Quiet enough as end of season but plenty of bars and restaurants still open. We hired mopeds, good fun.

Stay in Corfu town, loads of bars, cafe's, restaurants to choose from, plenty of historical sites to go see, close to the airport too...

Hire and car and drive for 20/30mins to get to the beaches of Palaiokastritsa and quieter areas..

Looking for advice on where to stay in Corfu. We went there on our honeymoon in the 80's and stayed in Messonghi, which I believe is now a party town. Also went to Ipsos around 20years ago with our young sons. I now have mobility issues and I'm looking for an area that has a good selection of bars and restaurants within a 500-750 m range. A pool is also a requirement. Any suggestions appreciated

We went to Roda last year, lovely resort, not too big, many bars and restaurants on the sea front, the main area is only a couple of hundred metres long so easy to walk and browse, nice and flat too,we stayed in Theodoros Resort which was about a 5 minute walk to the main area, there are many places right in the centre too
