Looking for thoughts on travelling to Turkey in March. Would it be best to go with someone like Loveholidays.ie who do a package or book separately with Ryanair and Booking.com? I've never been to Turkey and it wouldn't be my first choice but we're meeting up with family in Kusadasi, they've picked the destination. The packages seem to have 2 flights. Would a transfer from Bodrum to Kusadasi be long/risky?? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hard to say if package or separate bookings are better, just price both and see what suits. For Kusadasi, Aer Lingus start flying to Izmir in late March, so worth checking them too (plus you get a free 10kg checked bag).

Bodrum to Kusadasi is about 1.5 hours, not sure why you think it would be "risky" though. You'll be able to book in advance, or get a taxi on the day. Off the top of my head, I think it's about €70. Public transport will be a lot cheaper, with a change in Milas. We're going next month; car hire is about €11 a day.

March is a decent time to go to Kusadasi. It's not overly touristy at that time of year, unless the odd cruise ship arrives during the day. There's a huge amount of archaeological sites within a short enough distance from the town, and they'll be relatively quiet compared to the summer months. Alternatively, if you're just looking for a bit of relaxation and hanging around beaches, restaurants, etc., you can do that easy enough too.

Thanks @brendyeire, I think I'll go with Ryanair (dates don't work for AerLingus) and book the transfer ahead of time. Yes, looking forward to a couple of day trips to archaeological sites in the area. I'd be interested to hear how your trip goes, enjoy!
