Just wondering if anyone here has used the sofar hyd ep inverter with a DIY battery or specifically with the seplos using can.

Thanks to @graememk feel bit more confident in completing the purchase but thought would put it out there to see if anyone here has got this combination

Just to follow up on this for others in future looking for the answer.

Seplos works absolutely brilliantly with the hyd-ep sofar Hybrids. No more of the conflicts and warnings/cutoff that the solis suffered with as hits 100% and simply sits static until is needed.

Also in terms of charging the sofar charges continuously at 100 amps without any issue and not the 15 minutes that the solis claimed is only possible with all hybrids. The sofar has extremely large heatsink and doesn't seem to hit the high temps at high charging rates and seems to sit at max 45 so far but still early days for me with it as only installed two days ago.

Thankfully also compared to the sunsynk that I installed at a family members house the sofar doesn't seem to have any issues with grid consumption and perfectly balances battery/solar over grid. With the Solis I would often have grid being used as battery kicked in and out with stats when cooking etc whereas don't seem to be having that with the sofar and starts to (export small amounts 5-25w) when hitting high usage which seems to avoid this.

It can also take 9kwp from panels in while being mindfull obviously of max voltage per mppt. Have 7kwp panels connected to this from the ground mounted system so gives a little room to expand one of the arrays possibly at a later stage

All in all couldn't recommend it highly enough particularly for those with Seplos/DIY battery. Early days but so far so good
