finding the source of wind noise

    hi all

    does anyone know where i could rent a smoke machine in the kildare or south dublin are as i'am trying to find the sources of wind noises in my car.

    Try DJ/music/sound hire places. You can buy tiny ones on eBay etc.

    Tape up all suspect areas with masking tape hopefully noise will dissappear, then start removing tape logically while testing until you find the source.

    What type of car any extras , windows up all the way , might it be tyre noise

    thanks for the tips & i found a place that will hire out a smoke generator so i will go for that. Its a BMW E39 2002 .
