End of Jan recommendations holiday for a couple

Hi, after a tough few months & no holiday in 3 years, we have decided to treat ourselves to a week all inclusive approx 21st Jan, with an est budget of €3.5k. We want total relaxation. We had looked at Lanzarote but the weather is not guaranteed, has anyone been there in Jan before. Other options are Mexico but the flight is so long or Dubai. If anyone has any recommendations or feedback, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

For a relatively short flight, anywhere in the Canaries is a good idea. Settled weather is the usually the norm at any time of year. Tenerife generally experiences more cloudy and slightly cooler conditions in the north of the island, so for the best chance of sunshine, pick a resort in the south such as Adeje or Los Cristianos.

The Canaries is the closest for (nearly) guaranteed good weather at this time of year. A colleague was in Lanzarote for Christmas and it was sunny and 25 degrees. I have been told the pools can be colder than expected due to lower average temps during the winter.
