Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Motorbike test Ballina

    Does anyone have any idea how long the waiting list is for the test in Ballina, Mayo?


    Also, does anyone know what type of intercom you need for the test?

    Ring them?

    They provide the intercom. You need ordinary wired earphones, the €2 shop ones will do.

    Scrap the cap!

    Wired headphones without a microphone. 3.5mm jack.

    I gave mine to my instructor after the test to keep as a spare...

    I used these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B01LDKH2PG?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title&th=1

    They were great for getting the helmet on and off and ensuring they were positioned well (if they're not, you have difficulty hearing instructions)... Not comfortable after wearing them for a long time, but were perfect for the test. They cost about €8.

    As mad as it sounds, i never thought to ring them! I didn't think you'd be able to with the systems all online! Got an automated service to tell me its 8 to 10 weeks!!
