Search terms for livery yards

    Hello all,

I'm relocating to Ireland (Galway) this year and plan to bring my horse with me if I find a suitable yard!

The trouble is that I need to avoid yards that keep the horses in stables because he has arthritis and needs to keep moving. He currently lives out in a herd year round (with a field shelter) and that's what I'd need for him, but ideally with use of a school somewhere...

Any tips on how to find something suitable/where and what to search for? I also can't go entirely DIY because I travel for work.

    Thanks!

I think the best way of approaching this would be to identify a number of livery yards in the area you're moving to, and then ask them if they do outdoor livery only. A lot of yards offer turnout, so they may be able to provide full turn out livery, or recommend somewhere that does.
