To replace an electric cooker or not...

A friend is talking about replacing her electric cooker with a new one. The one she has is over 20 years old and is working perfectly. She told Mrs U.D. that she thinks her cooker is too old and could become unsafe. Mrs U.D. told her that she should keep using the cooker until it starts giving bother or gives up completely and I would have told her the same.

What do you think? Should her cooker stay or go?

Happy Christmas and New Year to you all.

Why interfere ? If she wants a new one then let her buy one. We're changing ours, which is working perfectly, in the new year as it has become shabby looking. If it gives her peace of mind then leave her to it.
