Flying Cork Heathrow with Airlingus , changing plans to Virgin Atlantic and Flying Heathrow Tampa.Only issue is Virgin changed the time of the flight so we now have a 7 hour layover on the way out.As it’s booked as one trip our luggage will go through to Tampa. What is there to do for 7 Hours in Heathrow. We land in Terminal 2 and fly from Terminal 3 , has anyone used either of the lounges. Thanks for any suggestions

Ugh, that’s a lot of time to kill :( we used lounge1 in terminal 3 pre Covid in 2019. I booked in advance and got some extra discount and price wasn’t bad at all. If I remember correctly, 3 hours was the allowed time but they weren’t strict at all at the time, might be different now. There was plenty of food and drink and great atmosphere. I honestly think one of the lounges is your best bet. You ll spend much more just eating/drinking at the terminal and with no comfort of the lounge.
