Zetor chassis number ?

    Hello All,

    My tractor, was purchased over two years ago, a Zetor tractor, model 5911, year 1979, and since then I have restored it.

    I going through the process of Registering this tractor in Ireland.

    They (VRT Office) are looking for the location of the chassis number. I can’t find it.?

    Some people are indicating that on those tractors/models there was NO chassis number.? its pre 80’s, chassis numbers were required after that year?

    Any assistance with this matter would really be very much appreciated.

    The chassis/serial number might be stamped on the rear axle centre housing.

    Or a local Zetor dealer (past or present) may advise. Carroll's Engineering (former Zetor dealer) in Funshog, Ardee comes to mind.
