Move Virgin Media box to another room

Hello, On our new build house we can only install virgin media box in the living room. I want to move the box in another room, which means i need another socket. What cable/socket do i need and who can do the installation? Does it have to be a virgin media technician? Can wr ask an electrician or can i do it on my own?…
