    Hi, I just was at ER abroad and got papers from them after getting help. It was only few hours visit and simple procedure. Should I do something next? Like after my return contacting any Irish authorities to let them know or will it be done by the hospital, which helped me?

    The way the EHIC works is that you get the same treatment as locals when in that country abroad which is very often free at the point of care, and the cost of it is then billed to your home (presumably the irish) government through the health systems. You shouldnt have to do anything.
