    Hi folks,

just wondering if there’s anyone out there who knows what happens if your driving test invitation expires (after the 10 days) and you rejoin the queue.

Do you lose your place in the queue and have to wait another 6 months+? Or do you keep your place in the queue and get another invitation after a few weeks ?

the rsa website says that you will be placed back in the at the point your last invitation expired but not sure if that means they’ll put you at the back of the queue at the point your invitation expired.

let me know if anyone has done this before and what they’re experience was!

    Thanks :)

Did you find out what happens? My son got invitation to book but wasn’t ready so it expired early April . If he rejoins the queue is he likely to receive another invitation to book very soon? He is about to start the Leaving Cert so ideally wants to sit a test in early Sept.
