Looking for info on a Cat 428

    Hello.

    I have a caterpillar 428 back hoe digger. It is a1989, 2x drive.

    Does anyone know what voltage of battery it needs? During good weather it started no problem with the 12v attached but during the winter now it fails to start.

    I went to replace the battery as I thought that was the problem, since I had a mechanic try charge the old one and he said it wasn't in the best condition.

    To be honest I'm trying to gather as much info on the machine as possible so if anyone has any info on the machine, I'd be very thankful for it.
