Best Solid Fuel Cooker? Stanley Super Star or Rayburn Supreme

just bought a farm house in the country and it used an oil boiler which I hateeeee. I want to get either a Rayburn or a Stanley solid fuel for cooking, heating and hot water. But I can’t choose between the two models. The Stanley’s second over has a higher temp so it’s not just for warming and the ovens and hot plates are barely larger but the Rayburn has a better look. Anyone have any experience with both? Thanks!

Grew up with a Stanley 8, house was hard to heat. Stanley 90 was a little bit better. Polish coal, wood etc. Eventually I got a Hamco Glendine that would heat all the rads. As you’ll require it for cooking, go with the Stanley 90. Buy a good used Irish made 90, they are now made in China and I’ve heard a lot of horror stories about them.

Looks like the Senko cookers are best now. looking to purchase one myself , see from old posts that some imported em straight from the company , they are also cheaper than Stanley.
